Ammar talks about the history of the Palestine Railway & Hijaz Railway and the rationale behind building these mega infrastructure projects in the era of the British Empire and the Ottoman Empire rule. Ammar then elaborates on three distinct aspects of both railway projects; How the Hijaz Railway project was financed; Bedouin resistance and opposition; and How Haifa's development accelerated due to the Derr'a - Haifa railroad link.
