In the 1960s, Lebanon was the first Arab country to send rockets into the sky. A small group of university students began tests and launched their first rockets to conquer space under the name ″Lebanese Rocket Society″. As their work grew in importance and made headlines, the Lebanese space program briefly became a source of national pride.

The talk offers a glimpse into who these young people were, why they stopped, and most importantly, why it was all totally forgotten.
