This presentation was essentially a forward about Lebanese historian Kamal Salibi's seminal book, "A House of Many Mansions". The presentation covered the importance of the book in terms of how it approaches Lebanese history discussing different notions about Lebanese identity and history held by different sects and social classes while then analyzing them against the historical record. The presentation also situates the book in terms of other works on Arab history as well as within the output and trajectory of Kamal Salibi's life more generally.
